Él próximo sábado 8 de mayo, a partir de las 12 del medio día y hasta las 05:00 de la madrugada tendrá lugar en Alicante el Alicante Spring Festival 2010, en la zona Volvo del Puerto de Alicante, uno de los mayores festivales musicales al aire, referencia en la provincia y en la Comunidad Valenciana, que ya el pasado año reunió a 4.500 asistentes.
El evento contará con 3 zonas musicales diferentes, house y éxitos, carpa electrónica, el Furgostage que reunirá a 20 grupos alicantinos del mejor rock, punk, garage, pop e indie... y un cartel compuesto por más de 45 artistas, Deejays y grupos musicales nacionales y de la provincia de Alicante.
Como en todas sus ediciones habrá paella gigante, animación, zona comercial y gastronómica.
Las entradas anticipadas tienen un precio de 15 euros y en taquilla 20 euros, ambas incluyen el acceso a las tres áreas musicales, una copa, una cerveza y un plato de paella.

For those of you who are visiting Playa San Juan for the first time (I’m sure all you oldtimes already know this) one of the must see towns is right next door and it is called El Campello.
This beautiful town on the coast, is a welcoming place that offers a promenade filled with restaurants of all kinds, and lots of ice cream shops, where you can enjoy watching the sea while having a fabulous dinner, a drink, it is perfect for the entire family..
Oh! and the beach, tiny but very cozy and clean. It also has a fishing and sports port, which makes the promenade that much longer to continue, and boy do we ever…

There are so many things I love about Playa San Juan, it would be hard to describe every single one..that is why I’m glad I started this blog so I could share them with all of you little by little. Anyway, one of the best thing Playa San Juan offers is its great beach.. And that beach combined with a pirate ship playground is probably the best thing that could happen to a child..(mine at least)..
Ever since they placed the great pirate ship in on the beach of Playa San Juan my kids beg me to take them everyday!! They love to climb up and explore or go underneath and hide away with their imagination.. They make friends and all play together as they seem to travel to far away lands.. unaware of the screams calling them coming from their parents…
if your kids have not yet experienced this pirate ship, what are you waiting for? Your kids will thank you forever..

I already say it in the tittle, What a shame the beach!, One of the most charming coves we have, and what is always on everyone’s lips in the amount of problems for residents of the area (and ultimately all Alicantinos and tourists), the inability to enjoy it due to its deficiencies.

Another year more Alicante celebrates its XIII Kite Festival which will take place on the 2nd and 3rd of May int the Postiguet beach at 10:30 in the morning. This is a celebration you can´t miss, your children will be in awe looking up at the skyp and all the beautiful colors it offers. A magical day for the entire family.
In a place so emblematic of the city as is the beach, there will be more than a hundred kites in the air from 10 teams from Spain, Italy, Belgium and Germany, which will delight all attendees flying gadgets from 20 to 30 meters.
This exhibit is open to all workshops, exhibitions and free flight, so from Playa San Juan, we invite you to participate in any of the many fun activities (especially for kids) and
enjoy a day outdoors, with the entire family.
