Be careful with Sugar
We all know that sugar does not bring us any beneficial substance for our body, it is what we call empty calories. Therefore, we could do without it, but doesn´t crave the occasional “sweet”.
It is recommend that our diet should not be more than 10% of total calories from sugar, but the reality is that every time we eat more sugar or more sweetening coffees, teas and infusions, sweets have become substitutes for snacks for both kids and adults.
The essential problem of sugar consumption is that, this excess will be stored as fat and thus promotes weight gain, metabolic and cardiovascular diseases. So, unless we don´t want to gain fat, watch your sugar intake.
Again, we are not talking about “getting rid of sugar” for some it would be an impossible task, but to replace it with other foods most beneficial for our health, and I mean you could have a little sugar in your coffee, I particularly don´t like saccharin but having saccharin with your coffe and eating a pastery is not very smart.
We need to take care of the youngest members of our family and prevent that with age they develop problems with tooth decay and overweight because they have become accustomed to rewards with candy, As they get older they will continue to need it and it will be much worse.
You can make small changes in the ways that improve the quality of your present and future life and future try it!
