The Three Kings or Santa Claus?
I found this photo in one of my favorite blogs wtf.microsiervos, which I highly recommend .. Anyway, this picture made me think …. The Three Kings or Santa Claus? Well a good question, especially in my family who is half American and half Spanish .. My children wait for the two (well, the 4 of them) every year ..
And so I asked them..The Three Kings or Santa Claus? I’m not sure if they didn’t understand the question or what because they looked at me as if I were crazy.. The Three Kings or Santa Claus? That’s a very difficult decision and one that they were not prepared to answer .. (thinking of all the gifts that they would leave behind if maybe they had to choose). They said they did not understand why it had to be either, that the 4 existed and because they were American but lived in Spain, Santa Claus had an obligation to report every Christmas …
Ok, so I understand that many people are not happy with many of the traditions that are coming from the U.S. such as Halloween and other ideas that children see on television and want to be part of their lives here in Spain .. As a person who lived more than 30 years in the U.S. I have little different opinion than others .. but I do recognize that there are some traditions thatmight not fully fit when they have nothing to do with other cultures ..
And what do you think about all this …

Saludos!
