Nativity Scene
The mayor of Alicante, Sonia Castedo, along with almost all the municipal corporation inaugurated this week the municipal Nativity scene located in the new building of Alicante’s City Hall.
This year the Nativity Scene Association of Alicante has developed a spectacular nativity scene that includes the three main birth scenes of , the Nativity, the arrival of the Three Kings and the Annunciation, and will be exhibited until January 6th, at regular hours of the consistory. (Monday to Friday from 10 to 14 hours and from 17 to 20 pm Saturdays and Sundays from 9 to 13 pm).
The novelty this year is that apart from the Nativity Scenes that traditionally adorned our city, namely in the Plaza de la Montañeta, the CAM, as well as those placed in the deputation, they will install two more, one in the neighborhood of Benalúa and another right here in Playa San Juan (Fontana shopping center) so you have no excuse this year to head out and take a peak.
So come on neighbors, get your winter gear ready and enjoy these beautiful Christmas decorations that the city of Alicante has prepared for us..
