Mother´s day
Trying to know exactly when Mother’s Day started is an almost impossible task, there is data that puts such a date before Christ, others in England back in the seventeenth century and some more recently. But what’s really important is that it is a day devoted to remembering mothers, that being, that in addition to bringing us to the world helps us throughout a lifetime, lives for us and never asks anything in return, probably a kiss or a caress is appreciates more than any other treasure. It is very difficult to describe the unconditional and sublime feeling that is the maternal love, however there is a word that encompasses all the greatness; Mother.
This day is celebrated in Spain the first Sunday in May (in other countries, the second). It has become a popular day thanks to “marketing” that has been responsible for this, because this day not only to honors our beloved “Mom” or “vieja” (affectionately as they say in Latin American countries) but also offers them gifts and other treats, which seems like a great idea if they are accompanied by other more spiritual signs of affection; This latter moms will appreciate more.
A good idea for this Mother’s Day would be to bring together the largest number of family members as possible and take your mom out to any of the great restaurants here in Playa San Juan and show her all our affection. She deserves it.
