And the snow arrived….
That is what it seems, this morning, after a day as cold as yesterday, I woke up and when I sat on the kitchen table to eat my breakfast ready for the day I raised my head with a cup of coffee in hand and. …. All the mountains that I could see from my window were covered in snow..
The truth is that the picture was very pretty, and I went to work with the image in my mind, and with a smile on my face.
As Alicantinos we don’t know much about Snow ….,I have never seen snow in Playa San Juan only around the Alicante region ..so we always have to venture out to see it, and I think this weekend will be a great time to get away with the family and build some snowmen..
Anyway, driving home I was thinking about what kind of article I would write today and I looked over and there was a car’s rooftop covered in snow.. I wonder where he was coming from???
Well, stranger things can happen, maybe one day it will snow in Playa San Juan, we will have to wait and see.

En Castalla (650 mts) hemos estado 3 dias con nive, pero hoy Jueves con la subida de temperaturas ha desaparecido todo, así que de momento siento deciros que no hay nada de nieve ya, pero ojito al fin de semana que las previsiones pone nieve por esta zona de nuevo, así que informaros bien e igual podeis hasta subir y ver nevar, un saludo desde la montaña.

Hace tanto que no veo nieve que tengo muchísimas ganas.. A ver si cae algo por aquí o hacemos una escapada al norte..

Mañana Sábado a últimas horas tendríamos cotas de nieve incluso a nivel del mar en la mitad Norte de la Comunidad, pero destacando que las precipitaciones significativas se darán en el Sur de la Comunidad, donde de nuevo podrán darse nevadas de consideración en altitudes de sólo 200mts en el Sur de Valencia, y 400-500mts en Alicante, pudiendo bajar más al final del día. Especial atención habrá que prestar a la madrugada del Domingo en cuanto a temperaturas, ya que estas podrán ser muy bajas, alcanzando heladas incluso al mismo litoral, y temperaturas que podrían incluso bajar de los -10ºC, ojito!!!!
