IV intercultural encounter: Graffiti
Today we are going to talk about a subject we have discussed in an earlier post. Graffiti, is a sort of hip now and is considered an expression of urban art and a way of externalization done by groups of artists who otherwise would not have great opportunity to make known their artistic thoughts..
This is the case of the Graffiti 4º Intercultural Encounter an event organized by the city of Alicante in cooperation with the inter cultural graffiti workshop to be held from the 22nd through the 29th of November at the Lo Morant park where a group of these urban artists will show off their works over wood under the supervision of Professor Hec. The final works will then be moved to decorate the the corridors of the Hall of Culture Plaza of Algiers.
This is a magnificent initiative both from the City of Alicante and the Intercultural Graffiti Workshop by claiming something that has become the culture of each city.
