What we lose at the beach
I’m sure every single one of you has lost an item or two at the beach, it is as if the sand had a magnet of some sort that attracted small objects and swalloed them whole. And the funniest thing of all (ok, it’s not very funny) is that the objects we lose are the ones we truly need and the objects we should take car of the most. A report from Europa Press informs us that among the items found by the beach cleaning staff are: movile phones, keys and documentation like ID cards and drivers license.
The Alicante beach cleaning crew has put in place a clean up operation for the Postiguet, Urbanova, Albufereta, Almadraba and Playa San Juan beaches. This service begins the 3:00 in the morning and runs until 08:30 in the morning. A team of 17 men perform a wide cleaning work in several stages, with the help of a tractor to remove objects and a vehicle to clean garbage bins which are placed in a container for this purpose. Alicante City Hall should be congratulated for this great effort of maintaining our beaches clean.
If you have lost something at the beach you can get in touch with your corresponding police department where the cleaning crews have deposited all found articles. Good Luck!!
