Cyber-Beach bums in Playa San Juan
How? its simple, The Department of Modernization and Municipal Structures intends to install a system in which the residents of Alicante can connect to the Internet, on the streets, the beach, a plaza, etc., without the need for cables, simply using Wi-Fi, so it would not be unusual to see a bather with a laptop, in a swimsuit, chatting from any of our beaches, and perhaps even working!
However, the project has yet to be concluded because there are many points yet to be installed and there are still some areas to be decided upon for wireless connection. Either way it is an initiative that demonstrates the willingness of the City Council to help our community advance technologically and get with the modern times.
We are confident that the Playa San Juan will be included in the “wireless zone” and everyone will be able to enjoy this addition specially the tourists who visit us who can communicate with their relatives and friends from the sand, sunbathing and telling all of them the great time they are having and inviting them to come visit us.
