Sails Away!
In just a few days, on October 11th the Volvo Ocean Race will begin and as we all know this year the sails with depart from the port of Alicante. There has been training everyday where most of the registered competitors have taken part , while hundreds of spectators have visited the stands and admired all the multicolored sails. Today an important preliminary race will begin for the final classifications for the start of race. Good luck to all.
As we discussed in previous post, this celebration not only lends prestige to our area but also attracts thousands of people who can appreciate the beauty of our coast and all the good things we offer to our visitors. From La Playa San Juan we welcome them.
