Candida albicans is a fungus that is present naturally in the digestive tract and is not harmful unless the immune system is weakened or if we follow a diet high in sugar. when given the circumstances, this organism becomes a potentially damaging fungus.

People with this disease, increasingly, have an added problem because it is a long process and must maintain a strict diet in order to control the disease.

The first symptoms of an excess of Candida include bloating, excessive gas that occur after eating fruit and other sweet foods.

It seems that the politicians of our city have recently taking to heart the subject of using the wonderful spaces that Alicante has to remodel and to use themas cultural areas, such as the old  Murcia station that will now be Mediterranean House and now use the premises of the Castle of Santa Barbara as a museum.

The project seems very ambitious and will have five themed rooms, corresponding with the ones in thecastle (Edificio Cuerpo de Ingenieros, Casa del Gobernador, Sala Larga, Salas de la Mina – Cueva de los Ingleses y Calabozos. Espacio del dolor) and will relay several sequences in the history of the city and the fortress, through adiovisuales, panels, parts, photos and other elements that turn it into an interactive, educational and entertaining, museum that will surely increase the tourist attractions of the castle.

The Cultural Association of Women “El Cabo” has organized a “pro-Nazareth Charitable yard sale” on December 10th, 11th and 12th 2009. located in the  Centro Comunitario Playas s (Avda Costablanca No. 19).

The inauguration will be the 10th of December from 12:00 to 19:00 pm, remaining open the next day, Friday 11th, from 10:30 am to 19:00 pm and the last day, December 12th, from 10:30 am to 13: 00h.

This past summer my friends and I had a blast going out and drinking cocktails, having fun and dancing all night long.. One of our favorite spots has to be the Golf area right here in Playa San Juan. We love this area because it is close to home and offers all types of different bars and restaurants..

The other night we were handed a VIP card to a new place we had never seen before called Siberia Golf. The name is a little appropriate because at first even though the Golf is very small we couldn’t find it…hahaha (or maybe it was we had had a couple of cocktails too many already).. Anyway, we finally found it and found it very cool.. Nice music, terrace and fun waiters..

A must check out if you are in the area, and remember to ask for your VIP card it will win you free drinks.. Yea, we gotta love that…

A group of prominent film and television personalities have collaborated and have used their image for an initiative sponsored by Samuel Eto’o that seems to be very successful, some of the artists participating are: Pedro Almodovar, Amaia Salamanca, José Corbacho, Juan Cruz, Eduardo Noriega, Boris Izaguirre, Paul Motorcycles, Mario Casas, Alberto Amarilla, Maria Pujalte, Manuela Velasco, Carlos Sobera and Edu Soto, all of whom have recorded a promo asking for everyone to please send their old shoes to Africa. The campaign was promoted by the Kiwi shoe brand and is called “Shoes for Africa”. Collection points are located at Corte Inglés and Hipercor.

So look in your closet do you have shoes you don´t wear anymore, that don´t fit right .. why not  give them away so that someone who has never had shoes be able to feel what it´s like and maybe have a better and brighter future..
