Hello again La Playa San Juan friends, we will continue discussing the world of diets and nutrition and many other things. Today we will talk about why diets don’t  work …Almost every week a new diet is invented and promoted promesing to help you lose weight and make you feel better.

Although some of them can produce weight loss during the first days, this is due to fluid loss and not fat. Disappointment is inevitable. There are many unhealthy diets, based on calories, not nutrition, which produce real health problems.

The winners of our first I Certamen Conjunto Noveles, Arenae, will give a free concert at chillout this Sunday August 30th... La Playa San Juan will be there to cheer them on and see them once again in action. In the coming months they will be working with the American record producer  Matthew Dela Pola on their demo cd which is sure to be a hit..

Ok, after all that, I want to present to everyone today the Esperanza Street Organization. A non profit organization run by loving people who simply want to help raise money to buy land to build shelter homes for people in dangerous or life-threatening situations as well as a really nice shelter for abandoned animals.
