La Playa San Juan

I love companies that offer great services and that is what we have found with Aval Alicante rent a car. A rental car company that is profesional and wants to meet your ever need. They offer all types of vehicles and trucks at great prices with special deals each month.

How many times have you needed to rent a car but had no one to drive you to pick it up or just didn’t have time to drop it back off??  Well, with Aval Alicante you don’t need to worry, they will drop the car off at your door step and come and pick it up when you are done for a 15 euro fee!

They are open Monday through Friday 8:30 to 13:30 , 16:30 to 20:00 and 10:00 to 13:30 on Saturdays. They have offices in Gran Via and Elche. A couple of weeks ago was the Grand Opening of Catay, what I call the store that has everything. Located in the Glorieta Deportista Paqui Veza right here in Playa San Juan. Where Zona Home once stood now we had this huge store full of everything you will ever need.

Catay offers great discount prices on hardware, householdgoods, clothing, shoes, stationary goods, decorations, toys, gifts, accessories, electronics, cleaning supplies.. Did I say everything??

We contacted with a TRAM informant who tells us that next Monday, August 3rd the catenary (wires that give current) will be activated on the new line through the Costa Blanca Avda will connect Playa San Juan with the rest of the network, on Tuesday or Wednesday the first TRAM will circulate on a trial basis and if all goes well, as expected, the last week of August the tram will be in operation, after many awaited months.

We are very exited to bring this news to all of you because we have all lived with the noise and other bothers and finally we see this huge project come to an end.. A little later than we thought but you know what they say better late than never… And it is a sign La Playa San Juan is growing..

No doubt the Fontana Shopping Center is one of the hubs of Playa San Juan, you can go there any time of day or night and have a snack, shop or just a walk and meet friends.

Today I recommend a coffee shop that will undoubtedly offers the most varied services in the area. Bubba Café, located in the corner between Avenida de Santander and Holanda (Adjacent to Safiro Tours) offers excellent breakfasts where you can choose from a variety of pastries, bread sticks with olive oil, churros, empanadas and to give it an international touch arepas. Great appetizers with a cold beer are offered in the afternoon and if you want something a little stronger they have liquors..
